BMJ Best Practice Apps

Access BMJ Best Practice via UMS IP range/Wifi network.

How will you know that you have access via your institution?

Your institution’s name or logo can be seen at the foot of the BMJ Best Practice home page. On a small device (such as a phone) this logo may be seen at the top of the screen also.

You will also see a box at the top of the screen; click ‘Register for a personal account’ or ‘log in’ if you already have one.
You must login to your personal account whilst using UMS network at least once every 6 months, to keep your account active.

An active personal account will mean that you can download the app, access BMJ BP outside of your institutions network and track your search activity to contribute to your CPD/CME requirements.

If you do not think you have activated your account within the last six months, simply login from within UMS network.

Accessing the app

1. Access your Apple or Google Play store and search for ‘BMJ Best Practice’

2. Select the app and when prompted, use your BMJ Best Practice ‘personal account’ details to sign in and download the content
